ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced its Player of the Week award winners Monday afternoon. The University of Northwestern landed one volleyball player on this week's list. Junior outside hitter,
Jenay Fuglestad (Maple Grove, Minn./Heritage Christian), was awarded the Offensive Player of the Week award. Fuglestad earns the award for the third time this season.

Jenay Fuglestad (Maple Grove, Minn./Heritage Christian) – Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week
Fuglestad led UNW offensively to a 3-0 record last week and a UMAC Playoff berth. The Junior recorded 36 kills in 10 sets played, averaging 3.6 kills/set. Fuglestad hit a .296 average and leads the UMAC in kills/set. She also tacked on 6 blocks on the week.
Northwestern will return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 30 when they host conference-leader, Minnesota Morris. The match outcome will determine UMAC Playoff seeding. First serve is slated for 7 p.m. in the Ericksen Center.
