ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced its Player of the Week award winners Monday afternoon. The University of Northwestern landed
Jenay Fuglestad (Maple Grove, Minn./Heritage Christian) on this week's list. The junior was tabbed the UMAC Offensive Player of the Week after an outstanding pair of performances on Friday. Fuglestad earns the award for the second time this season.

Jenay Fuglestad (Maple Grove, Minn./Heritage Christian) – Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week
Fuglestad put together a dominant pair of matches against two solid opponents Friday evening. The junior recorded a career-best 23 kills in a five-set win over Stevens, while hitting .370. She went on to add 11 more kills against #18 St. Thomas. Fuglestad averaged 4.25 kills/set and added three blocks as UNW went 3-1 on the week.
Northwestern will return to action on Oct. 18 and 19 when they compete in the North Jersey Challenge at Kean University. The Eagles will play four matches in Union, New Jersey against Hunter College, Hamilton College, Kean University and University of Scranton.
