Box Score DULUTH, MINN. – The University of Northwestern women's tennis team fell to St. Scholastica by a score of 5-4 on Friday evening in the UMAC Final.  This match will conclude the 2018 campaign for the Eagles.

UNW began the evening with a couple of very competitive doubles matches across the board, taking two of the three matches played.  At the third position the duo of Gracie LeBrun (Pine City, Minn./Pine City) and Mafee Rinta (Hudson, Wis./Hudson) came out on top in a close victory, winning 8-6.

The Eagles continued their solid play in the singles portion, taking at least one set in every match played.  Brooke Lapinski (Chanhassen, Minn./Chanhassen) (6-3, 6-1) and Nikki Paskewitz (Staples, Minn./Staples-Motley) (6-0, 6-1) had dominating victories at the first and second positions.
