MORRIS, MINN.—The University of Northwestern women's tennis team won their fourth consecutive match Thursday, winning 9-0 at the Minnesota-Morris Cougars. The victory moves the Eagles to 11-9 on the season.
UNW won all three doubles matches. The first and third teams did not drop a single game in either one of their matches.
Northwestern continued their dominating play on the singles side, winning all six matches in straight sets. The one (
Nikki Paskewitz (Staples, Minn./Staples-Motley)), three (
Shawna Spears (Thief River Falls, Minn./Lincoln)), four (
Gracie LeBrun (Pine City, Minn./Pine City)), and five (
Jessica Gross (Woodbury, Minn./New Life Academy)) singles players all swept their matches 6-0, 6-0.
