ST. PAUL, MINN. – The University of Northwestern men's lacrosse team picked up an impressive 10-6 win over Northland College [2-10 overall] Saturday afternoon on the road. With the victory, the purple and gold extend their win streak to four and improve to 6-4 on the season.

After a tied 4-4 score at intermission, UNW claimed complete control of the contest by outscoring NC in the third (2-1) and final frame (4-1) to capture the midday victory, 10-6, over the home Lumberjacks.

Keller Stephens (Lino Lakes, Minn./Mounds View) led Northwestern's offensive attack, burying five goals on the afternoon contest, while also finishing with four grounders and one assist. Freshman Christian Erickson (Buffalo, Minn./Delano) and Sophomore Noah Vander Kooi (Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo) also had strong performances on the game, as Erickson netted three goals for the Eagles and Vander Kooi two.

As a collective group, UNW recorded 48 shots [20 SOG], picked up 18 grounders, and went 29-for-33 on clears.
