ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The University of Northwestern women's tennis team fell 9-0 at Bethel (11-3) Wednesday evening. With the loss, the Eagles drop to 5-8 on the year.

In doubles play,
Gracie LeBrun (Pine City, Minn./Pine City) and
Mafee Rinta (Hudson, Wis./Hudson) battled at No. 3 doubles before dropping an 8-6 decision.
Brooke Lapinski (Chanhassen, Minn./Chanhassen) and
Nikki Paskewitz (Staples, Minn./Staples-Motley) came up short, 8-5, in a hard-fought match at No. 1 singles.
At No. 1 singles, Lapinski fell 6-3, 6-2, while it was
Jessica Gross (Woodbury, Minn./New Life Academy) who had a strong outing before being defeated 7-5, 6-1.
