ST. PAUL – The University of Northwestern men's basketball team is prepped for its eighth consecutive appearance in the UMAC Tournament Championship, as the No. 3 Eagles will travel to top-seeded Bethany Lutheran for a 3 p.m. showdown Saturday.

The Eagles advanced to Saturday's title tilt with a come-from-behind win at rival St. Scholastica Wednesday night, using an 11-0 run late in the second half to knock off the second-seeded Saints. The Vikings rolled to a lopsided 112-69 home win over Minnesota Morris in Wednesday's other semifinal.
Caleb Hageman (Charles City, Iowa/Charles City) leads a trio of Eagles scoring in double figures, as the junior is averaging 14 points per game.
Tanner Youngberg (Pocahontas, Iowa/Pocahontas Area) has been a force on the block, as the sophomore is shooting 53 percent from the floor en route to scoring 12.5 points per game and grabbing eight rebounds per outing. Senior
Isaiah Rahier (Northome, Minn./Northome) has been a great leader and contributor in his final year, pouring in 10.8 points per game, while dishing out over three assists per contest as well.
Bethany has four players averaging double figures, led by Trenton Krueger's 14.8 points per game. Brady Rose follows with a 13.3 average and Neil Eichten (12.3) and Bradley Rose (11.7) round out the double digit scoring.
The teams split during the regular season, both winning on their home floor. After Bethany cruised to a 97-72 win in the conference opener on Dec. 6, UNW rebounded with a 78-65 victory inside the Ericksen Center on Jan. 31.
