OWATONNA, Minn. – The University of Northwestern women's tennis team battled St. Olaf College Saturday afternoon, falling to the Oles, 7-2. The Eagles drop to 0-2 on the year.

St. Olaf opened up the day with a sweep in doubles action. At No. 3 doubles,
Gracie LeBrun (Pine City, Minn./Pine City) and
Mafee Rinta (Hudson, Wis./Hudson) played a tight match before falling 9-7.
In singles action, it was
Brooke Lapinski (Chanhassen, Minn./Chanhassen) fighting back for a hard-fought win at No. 1 singles.
Nikki Paskewitz (Staples, Minn./Staples-Motley) tabbed UNW's second point of the day with a 7-6, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles.
