ST. BONIFACIUS, MINN. – In Saturday's mid-day battle at Crown College [0-8, 0-3 UMAC], the University of Northwestern women's soccer team clinched an 11-1 dominant win over the Storm. With the triumph, the Eagles improve to 3-4-1 [3-0-1 UMAC] on the season.
UNW came out blazing as five different Eagles netted goals on the period, with the Storm dropping one, to boost a 6-1 lead at the halftime break.
As the second-half action took off, Northwestern sank five more goal that would go unanswered, securing an 11-1 win over the home team.
On the contest, UNW recorded a season-high 55 shots [30 SOG].
