ST. PAUL – The University of Northwestern men's tennis team ended its regular season on a high note Monday night, as the Eagles picked up a 7-2 victory over Bethany Lutheran College at the Johnson Tennis Courts. With the win, UNW finishes the regular season with a 6-2 mark in league action.

CJ Lloyd (Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View) and
Landon Ridpath (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech ) at No. 1 doubles, along with
Turner Main (Kewaunee, Wis./Kewaunee) and
Sam Bostrom (Forest Lake, Minn./Forest Lake) at No. 3 doubles helped the Eagles to a 2-1 match lead through partner play.
In singles action,
CJ Lloyd (Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View) worked his way to a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles, with
Landon Ridpath (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech ) taking home a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles.
Joshua Kimball (Waseca, Minn./Waseca) (6-0, 6-4) and
Sam Bostrom (Forest Lake, Minn./Forest Lake) (6-4, 6-2) followed that with wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively, while
Cameron Fair (Sterling, Kan./Sterling) battled for a win after taking the tiebreaker in his set.
