WINONA, Minn. – The University of Northwestern men's tennis team (9-13) dropped a 6-3 decision to Saint Mary's University (8-7) Wednesday afternoon.

Northwestern earned a pair of wins in doubles play, as
CJ Lloyd (Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View) and
Landon Ridpath (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech ) (No. 1 doubles) and
Joshua Kimball (Waseca, Minn./Waseca) and
Cameron Fair (Sterling, Kan./Sterling) (No. 2 doubles) picked up 8-6 wins to give the Eagles a 2-1 advantage heading into singles play.
Sam Bostrom (Forest Lake, Minn./Forest Lake) was the lone UNW winner in singles competition, as the freshman notched a victory at No. 4 singles.
