PAUL, MINN. - The University of Northwestern men's tennis team struggled in Thursday evenings home match against the College of St. Scholastica [16-1, 6-0 UMAC], falling to a 8-1 final score against the visiting team. With the deficit, the Eagles drop to 8-13 on the season and 3-2 in conference play.

Turner Main (Kewaunee, Wis./Kewaunee) captured the lone win for the purple and gold [1-6], beating his competitor by scores of 6-4 and 7-6.
In the doubles showdown, the Saints topped the Eagles in all three competitions [8-2, 8-1, 7-5], capping off the night with a 8-1 win over the home team.
