MADISON, Wis. – The University of Northwestern men's tennis team split its matches Saturday. The Eagles knocked off Milwaukee School of Engineering, 5-4, after falling to UW-Lacrosse, 9-0.

The Eagles battled, but couldn't overcome the regionally-ranked UWL Eagles.
CJ Lloyd (Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View) had a strong showing at No. 1 singles and
Landon Ridpath (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech ) battled at No. 2 singles for UNW.
UNW 5, MSOE 4
The Eagles took four of the six singles matches to earn the hard-fought win over MSOE.
CJ Lloyd (Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View),
Joshua Kimball (Waseca, Minn./Waseca),
Cameron Fair (Sterling, Kan./Sterling) and
Sam Bostrom (Forest Lake, Minn./Forest Lake) all secured wins in singles play for UNW. Kimball and Fair teamed up at No. 2 doubles to earn an 8-2 win.
