MADISON, Wis. – The University of Northwestern women's tennis team improved to 6-2 on the season with a 9-0 win over Edgewood College Friday evening.

Karen Moe (Fargo, N.D./Fargo South ) continued her dominance at No. 1 singles, winning in straight sets to remain undefeated in singles play on the season. Nikki Edin (Staples, Minn./Staples-Motley) also cruised to a straight-sets victory at No. 4 singles for the Eagles. UNW didn't have any trouble in doubles competition, taking home 8-2 (No. 1 doubles), 4-1 (No. 2 doubles) and 8-1 (No. 3 doubles) wins.
