WHITE BEAR LAKE, MINN. – The University of Northwestern women's tennis team swept the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, 9-0, Friday evening. With the win, the Eagles improve to 5-2 on the season.

Karen Moe (Fargo, N.D./Fargo South ) won straight sets (6-0) at the No. 1 singles for the Eagles, while
Brooke Lapinski (Chanhassen, Minn./Chanhassen) picked up two victories, defeating her challenger 6-2 at No. 2.
For the doubles competition, all three pairs notched wins for the purple and gold (8-0, 8-1, 9-7).
