ST. PETER, Minn. – The University of Northwestern men's tennis team dropped a pair of matches Saturday, as the Eagles fell to Hamline (7-2) and Gustavus Adolphus College (9-0). UNW falls to 1-3 on the season.

CJ Lloyd (Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View) and
Landon Ridpath (St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech ) at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively, picked up UNW's two wins. Lloyd secured a 6-1, 6-2 win, while Ridpath took home a 7-5, 6-3 victory. The duo teamed up in doubles play and dropped a heartbreaker (9-8) at No. 1 doubles.

The Eagles battled against the 20th-ranked Gusties, but it wasn't enough, as UNW was swept in the nightcap.
