ST. PAUL – The University of Northwestern football team will ride its 3-0 start to the season into Saturday's Homecoming contest with Martin Luther College (0-3, 0-2) at Reynolds Field. Kickoff between the two Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) foes is set for 1 p.m.

The Eagles enter Saturday's matchup a perfect 3-0 after most recently defeating Minnesota Morris last weekend 17-0 at Reynolds Field. In UNW's three wins this season, the Eagles have not given up a score.
A LOOK AT THE OPPONENT
The Knights come to St. Paul with an 0-3 record after droping a home contest with Crown College last Saturday. The Knights were defeated by Maranatha Baptist (20-7) in the season opener and Eureka (38-7) week two in Eureka, Ill.
WELCOME HOME
The University of Northwestern has welcomed back alumni all week in conjunction with Homecoming Week on campus. Saturday's events will conclude the annual event at Northwestern.
DOMINANT DEFENSE
The storyline of 2016 has been UNW's stout defense. The Eagles have posted three-straight shutouts and are one of two teams in the country (Division III) to have held opponents scoreless this season.

Senior
Corban Halbur (Richfield, Minn./Richfield) has stepped in under center and done an impressive job for the Eagles. The Richfield native has a passer efficiency rating of 138.49 after completing 42-of-72 passes for 626 yards and three scores.
