ST. PAUL – After putting together strong 2016 campaigns, the men's and women's tennis teams are set for the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Tournament. The conference tournament will be held at the Baseline Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota and will get underway on Friday.

The women's tennis team will match-up with Martin Luther College at 6 p.m. to open the weekend. The College of St. Scholastica and Bethany Lutheran will meet in the semis on the other side of the bracket.
UNW swept MLC twice last month.
Karen Moe (Fargo, N.D./Fargo South ) has been dominant this spring at No. 1 singles and doubles for the Eagles. Moe, in addition to
Rachel Bostrom (Forest Lake, Minn./Forest Lake) and
Tina Matetich (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing), surpassed the 100-win milestone in their careers earlier this spring.
The men's squad will take on Bethany Lutheran at 8:30 p.m. Friday night, with a trip to Saturday's championship match on the line. CSS and MLC will square off in the other semifinal.
The men's tennis team knocked off the Vikings in both meetings this season by match scores of 7-2 in both contests. The Eagles are led by
CJ Lloyd (Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View) and
Brett Jacobus (Lakeville, Minn. /Lakeville North), who have been mainstays at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively.
