OSHKOSH, Wis. – The upset-minded and 18th-ranked University of Northwestern volleyball team will meet the No. 2 Calvin College Knights in the first of Friday's two NCAA Division III Semifinal matches. First serve inside the Kolf Sports Center on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is set for 5 p.m. The Eagles advanced to the program's first Final Four with a thrilling five-set win over Eastern University Thursday afternoon.

UNW enters Friday's play 34-4, while Calvin – the 2013 National Champs – are 31-1 on the year with its lone defeat coming to Hope College in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Tournament Championship. They advanced to Friday's semifinal with a come-from-behind five-set win over Emory in Thursday's first match of the day.

Lindsey Peterson (Sheffield, Iowa/West Fork) was stellar once again, posting a double-double with her match-high 24 kills and 27 digs. Fellow junior
Jackie Doering (Charles City, Iowa/Charles City) was phenomenal in the back row, racking up 31 digs to lead all players. The Eagles used an 8-0 run in the fifth set to pick up the dramatic win and move on to UNW's first-ever Final Four.
