ST. PAUL – The University of Northwestern volleyball team chalked up its 11th-straight win Saturday, sweeping visiting Northland 3-0 inside the Ericksen Center. The Eagles won by set scores of 25-15, 25-17 and 25-12.
UNW remains unbeaten (4-0) in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) play and moves its record 17-7 overall. The Lady Jills fall to 4-12 and 0-4 in the UMAC.
Shanay Gonder (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Washington) posted an impressive .883 hitting percentage, while
Lydia Palkert (Excelsior, Minn./Southwest Christian) followed up Friday night's strong effort with a solid showing, compiling a .714 hitting percentage.
Kaelyn Kilbo (Delano, Minn./Delano) collected 13 assists, while
Lindsey Peterson (Sheffield, Iowa/West Fork) recorded three service aces.
