MANKATO, Minn. – For the second time this week, a Northwestern women's tennis program record fell while the Eagles recorded a 9-0 sweep of Bethany Lutheran College on Friday afternoon.
Karen Moe (Fargo, N.D./Fargo South ) and
Tina Matetich (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing)'s 8-0 defeat of the Vikings' Ashley Stahl and Jordan Feis at No. 2 doubles gave the both freshmen their 17th doubles wins of the season, breaking
Kelly Johnson (Annandale, Minn./Annandale) and
Megan Johnson (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing)'s mark of 16 wins that didn't quite last an entire year.
