Box Score ST. PAUL — Bethel University carried the momentum throughout the game winning 6-0 over the University of Northwestern-St. Paul on Tuesday afternoon. Bethel restricted Northwestern's offense and pushed through the Eagle defense for the 90 minutes.

Swanson earned her first ever Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) player of the week on Tuesday for the Royals. It didn't take long for another momentum builder as Emma Mattheisen scored with 19:23 remaining in the first half, assisted by Deanna Voss. With a 3-0 deficit, the Eagles went into halftime behind Bethel.
Three minutes into the second period started, Deanna Voss scored for the home team, made possible by passes from Sarah Wagman and Swanson. The Royals weren't finished there when 57 minutes in, Sarah Wagman scored a goal of her own just outside the 18. With 29 minutes left in the game, Danielle Voss tapped a header in off a cross by her twin sister Deanna Voss, who had a goal earlier.
