David Knight (Fort Dodge, Iowa/Fort Dodge) rattled off his second consecutive 6-0, 6-0 result in the top singles spot, his third shutout win of the season. Finishing with exactly the same outcome was Levi Busse (Amery, Wis./Amery), who also defeated his Rams opponent without dropping a game. The rest of the lineup found success as well, with Keagan Blancke (Elk River, Minn./Elk River), Agassi Mila (Coon Rapids, Minn./Coon Rapids), Jimmy Ekman (River Falls, Wis./River Falls) and Philip Gudim (Becker, Minn./Home School) all ending the afternoon on a high note.

The top doubles match proved to be the closest contest of the day, as Knight and Blancke gained the upper hand of an 8-5 end result. Both the Mila/Eckman and Gudim/Busse partnerships saw 8-2 scores in their matches, chipping in to the 9-0 overall finish.

Yet again, Northwestern (8-9 overall, 4-1 UMAC) will have a quick turnaround, as it will host a familiar North Central team on Tuesday at Lifetime Fitness in Fridley. Match time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
