Football wins second straight, beats Presentation 35-10

Box Score ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northwestern College used a pair of 14-point quarters and solid defense to win its second consecutive game on the road as the Eagles defeated Presentation College, 35-10. As is usually the case, NWC was battling the prairie winds of north central South Dakota, but the weather didn't hamper the Eagles' ability to move the football.

Individual statistics from the game weren't immediately available. However, Northwestern owned more than a 100-point advantage in total yards in the nonconference affair. The Eagles' front seven held Presentation to just 13 yards rushing while racking up 10 tackles for a loss at Swisher Field against the former Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) member foe.

Now 2-1 on the year, Northwestern returns to Reynolds Field next Saturday, September 22, for its home opener against MacMurray College. Kickoff for the Football Frenzy game is scheduled for 1 p.m.
