Northwestern was nearly just as solid on defense, as King and Courtney Jonas (Neenah, Wis./Valley Christian) (Neenah, Wis./Valley Christian) each accumulated six blocks throughout the night. Lexi Bertsch (Andover, Minn./Meadow Creek Christian) (Andover, Minn./Meadow Creek) paced the Eagles with a game-leading 13 digs in the four set match.

NWC now shifts its attention to Friday and Saturday, when the Eagles will play four matches at a tournament hosted by Augsburg College. Northwestern will face the Auggies right away on Friday afternoon before also matching up against UW-Stevens Point, seventh ranked-St. Thomas and a team yet to be determined.
