Women's Tennis take 9-0 victory over North Central

ARDEN HILLS, Minn.—The Northwestern College women's tennis team wins fourth straight match as it sweeps North Central University.

Three Eagle singles players won all their sets, winning in 6-0, 6-0 fashion, including No. 1 singles player Wendy Miller (Roseville, MN/Saint Joseph High School) (Roseville, Minn./Saint Joseph High School) and No. 3 singles player Johanna Alex (San Pedro, Calif./Homeschool) (Crete, Greece/Homeschool). Playing No. 2 singles, Rebecca Leland (Bricelyn, Minn./United South Central) (Bricelyn, Minn./United South Central High School), allowed opponent Rachel Lojovich to only take one game off of her, winning 6-0, 6-1.

Doubles play was just as successful as No. 1 team Miller and Alex and No. 3 partners Victoria Viggers (Norwalk, Iowa/Norwalk) and Erica Abeler (Roseville, MN/Roseville High School) (Roseville, Minn./Roseville High School) defeated their counterparts 8-0. No. 2 doubles team Leland and Dana Smith (Ramsey, Minn./Anoka) (Ramsey, Minn./Anoka High School) only gave up three games, winning their match 8-3.
