Men's Tennis falls to UW- Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wis.—
After taking its first conference win, the Northwestern College (1-9 overall, 1-1 UMAC) men's tennis team fell victim to another 0-9 defeat against the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire.

All but one of the Eagle's singles players was able to take at least one game off their counterparts, including No. 1 Stephen Fread (Minneapolis, MN/Osseo High School) (Minneapolis, Minn./Osseo High School) who lost 2-6, 3-6 and No. 2 Joshua Fread (Minneapolis, Minn./Osseo High School) with a final score of 1-6, 3-6.

The No. 1 and No. 2 doubles teams were able to take a combined four games from their opponents, as Stephen Fread (Minneapolis, MN/Osseo High School) and Joshua Fread lost in 3-8 fashion while Logan Fischer (Silver Bay, MN/Homeschool) (Silver Bay, Minn./Homeschool) and Jay Werness (Farmington, Minn./Rosemount) (Farmington, Minn./Rosemount) lost 1-8.
