NWC men go 8-1 against Minnesota-Morris

 
MINNEAPOLIS – The Northwestern College men's tennis team solidified its spot as the second seed in the upcoming UMAC tennis tournament with an 8-1 win over the University of Minnesota, Morris.

NWC's No. 2 singles player in Jeremiah Schneck (Faribault, Minn./Faribault) (Faribault, Minn./Faribault) won in 6-0, 6-0 fashion against Tyson Mastin while No. 3 singles player Josh Fread (Minneapolis, Minn./Osseo) (Minneapolis, Minn./Osseo) went 6-0, 6-1 over Caleb Power.

Northwestern will return to the court on Tuesday to wrap up its UMAC regular season against Bethany Lutheran College before hosting the UMAC postseason tennis tournament at the Baseline Tennis Center on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis on Friday and Saturday, May 1-2. Tuesday's match against Bethany Lutheran will be at the Baseline Tennis Center at 3 p.m.
