Hamline wins Snelling Ave. Challenge, 2-0

ST. PAUL (Oct. 21, 2008) – The Northwestern women's soccer team was shut out for the second straight game on Tuesday, losing a non-conference affair to Hamline University, 2-0. The Eagles were only able to get one shot off against the Pipers.

Kim Magill and Mallory Koula each scored goals for Hamline. Magill's goal in the 15th minute was the game-winner.

NWC goalkeeper Rhonda Morgan (Andover, Minn./Meadow Creek) (Andover, Minn./Meadow Creek) had four saves in the game.

Northwestern (9-7-0 overall, 8-2-0 UMAC) will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 24, when they travel to New Ulm, Minn. to play Martin Luther College. That game will kick off at 1 p.m.
