Women's Soccer Routed by Bethel

– The up-and-down season for Northwestern's women's soccer team continued Tuesday, as the Eagles fell hard to neighboring Bethel University, who won a rain-drenched contest 7-0.

Northwestern couldn't find its offense all game, as they were out-shot 45-5.

Kristin Kishaba and Esther Sowles each had two goals for the Royals in the win. Krista Polding, Jesse Tschetter and Kelsey Dewey also recorded scores.

Karen Kruse (Bloomington, MN/Kennedy) (Bloomington, Minn./Kennedy) had 16 saves in the game amidst yielding the seven goals.

The Eagles will return home on Friday, when they host Martin Luther for a UMAC conference showdown at Reynolds Field. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
