Aaron Thelen is entering his eighth season as the assistant women's soccer coach in 2023.
Coach Thelen has helped guide the Eagles to two conferences championships, two NCCAA national tournament appearances and a NCAA DIII National tournament appearance.
Coach Thelen graduated from Northwestern in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Health Education with a minor in Coaching. Apart from UNW athletics, Thelen serves as a Recreation Supervisor for the City of New Hope. Thelene played as an Eagle from 2005 to 2008. As a four-year letter winner on the men’s squad, Thelen was a team captain his senior year and played a pivotal role in the Eagles conference championship in 2005.
Thelen and his wife, Amy, reside in Maple Grove, MN with their daughter Emmaline.
