Kayla Gryniewski is entering her 3rd season as an assistant coach for the University of Northwestern Women's Lacrosse program in 2022.
Coach Gryniewski is a 2019 graduate of Northwestern, and has been involved with UNW Women's Lacrosse from the very beginning. Gryniewski played three seasons for the Eagles, and was a part of the inaugural Women's Lacrosse team. Gryniewski was a high quality player for the Eagles, earning the Defensive Player of the Year award for the conference in 2018.
In addition to her playing career at Northwestern, Gryniewski has seen success as a coach for the Eagles as well. Coach Gryniewski served on the coaching staff during the 2021 spring season where the Eagles made their deepest postseason run in program history, appearing in the conference championship game. Along with her collegiate coaching experience, Coach Gryniewski has also coach U14 Summer Lacrosse for many years.
Coach Gryniewski lives in Saint Louis Park and is a 4th grade teacher.
