Tim Dokken joined the UNW Men's Lacrosse program as Assistant Coach/Offensive Coordinator in 2023.
Coach Dokken brings a wealth of experience in both the coaching and playing realms to Northwestern. He was a three-year player and team captain of North Central University Men's Lacrosse after starting his competitive lacrosse career at Northfield (MN) High School. At NHS, he was nominated as team captain in his junior and senior seasons while earning a place on the all-conference team.
After high school, Dokken was recruited to play lacrosse for NCU when the program was first introduced before the 2017 season. His time in a Rams uniform was highlighted by helping build the program in both size and competitiveness throughout his three-year career. Upon graduating from North Central in 2019, Dokken stayed with the program as a graduate assistant coach, where he relied on eight years of coaching at the youth lacrosse level for programs including: Northfield Youth Lacrosse, Homegrown Lacrosse and Minnesota Chill (where he still serves as a coach).
Coach Dokken holds a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship from North Central. He is now in pursuit of his Master's Degree in Strategic Leadership.
In his free time, Coach Dokken enjoys golfing, skiing, biking, playing basketball and digital design. He currently resides in Minneapolis.
