A fun but purposeful playing and learning environment for girls, aged 5-12. Details for this 4 day camp on the campus of University of Northwestern St. Paul:
- Camp Director is UNW Head Coach Danny Brandt, a highly experienced teacher of the game.
- Camp staff will consist of UNW Women's Soccer coaches and players.
- An emphasis on teaching and expanding on basic skills in an intentionally positive, upbeat, high energy, and supportive Christ-centered environment
- A modern and relevant curriculum that will include passing, first touch, turning, 1v1 skills, basic defending concepts, and understanding the dynamics of small group play-the ball, space, opponents, and teammates
- An emphasis as well on basic values such as supporting teammates, dong one's best vs having to be the best, and embracing effort and improvement
- Teaching sessions are run by experienced and energetic "lead coaches" who produce an upbeat, purposeful, and real teaching/learning environment
