To be named UMAC All-Conference, an athlete must finish on the podium in either first, second, or third in an individual event or first in a relay at the UMAC Championships, which took place this past weekend.

For the men, Tyler Dueber (Bloomington, Minn./Homeschool) earned All-Conference honors with his second-place finish in the 5,000-meter race. Dueber was the lone Eagle from the men's team to be named All-Conference this season. Peter Kephart (Lake Nebagamon, Wis./Northwestern) was selected as Northwestern's All-Sportsmanship honoree following his final indoor campaign.

On the women's side, Alaina Wojtowski (Oshkosh, Wis./Valley Christian) wrapped up her first indoor season in standout fashion, earning UMAC Rookie of the Year honors. She is now a two-time All-Conference performer after placing second in both the 60-meter and 200-meter races.

Emery Maki (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing) continued to add feathers to her already impressive cap, earning All-Conference honors in the mile, 800, and 400. She is now a three-time conference champion and All-Conference runner in the mile, and a three-time All-Conference honoree in the 800 meters. Maki also placed third in the 400 to secure her third All-Conference recognition of the season.

Katie Shilts (Cameron, Wis./Cameron) collected All-Conference honors in the triple jump with her third-place finish on Saturday. Shilts also joined Kephart on the All-Sportsmanship Team for their representation of Northwestern throughout the indoor season. They both consistently lived out the UNW Athletics mission to Compete With Purpose each time they stepped on the track. In addition to the individual recognition, the Eagles women's team was voted the UMAC Team Sportsmanship Award winner.
