GREENVILLE, S.C. - The National Christian College Athletic Association announced its Scholar Teams for the Winter and Spring seasons for 2024-2025 on Wednesday. The University of Northwestern had three winter/spring teams qualify.
To be eligible for this award, teams need a minimum grade point average of 3.40 on a 4.00 scale for all combined student-athletes on the team. 46 teams in the NCCAA received Scholar Team honors, and 21 schools were represented on the list.
The Eagles had three women's teams that met the requirements, being named an NCCAA Scholar Team. UNW Women's Basketball's GPA was 3.78, which was the second-best team GPA on the NCCAA Scholar Team list. Joining Women's Basketball as Scholar Teams were Softball with a GPA of 3.71, and Women's Indoor Track and Field with a GPA of 3.52.
