GREENVILLE, S.C. - After an impressive week on the pitch, Marie Kendall (Dakar, Senegal/Dakar Academy) with the University of Northwestern Women's Soccer Team won her first National Christian College Athletic Association Student-Athlete of the Week award, on Monday afternoon.

Kendall has found her groove for UNW through this week! Kendall assisted or scored on all but one of Northwestern's 7 goals this week, and finished with 4 goals, 2 assists, and 16 shots on target. Entering the game on Saturday, the freshman had 3 total goals, leaving St. Bonifacius, she had 6 total goals for her first collegiate hat trick. This is the first time Kendall has been recognized by the NCCAA. She has also won the UMAC Defensive Player of the Week award earlier this season, in her stellar freshman season.
