ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference announced their Players of the Week on Monday with Kyle Kaemingk (Woodbury, Minn./New Life Academy), Deanna Trucksess (Spirit Lake, Iowa/Spirit Lake), Davis Pfaff (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove), and Taylar Smith (Litchfield, Minn./Litchfield) earning conference honors for UNW. With these awards, the Eagles have earned 40 Conference Player of the Week honors during the 2022-23 athletic year.

Men's Basketball Player of the Week

• Kyle Kaemingk (Woodbury, Minn./New Life Academy)
  • Averaged 28.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game to help lead Northwestern to two road wins over the weekend.
  • Kaemingk scored 30 points in a 96-86 win over Minnesota Morris on Friday.

Women's Track Athlete of the Week

• Deanna Trucksess (Spirit Lake, Iowa/Spirit Lake)
  • Set a school record in the 400 meter dash and tied a school record in the 60 meter dash on Saturday at the Gopher Classic.
  • Took 2^nd place in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.04.

Men's Tennis (North Division) Player of the Week

• Davis Pfaff (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove)
  • Won four matches on Saturday to propel Northwestern to a 2-0 start this season.
  • Pfaff won both of his number 1 doubles matches this weekend as well as both of his number 3 singles matches.

Women's Tennis (North Division) Player of the Week

• Taylar Smith (Litchfield, Minn./Litchfield)
  • Smith won her number 6 singles match for Northwestern on Saturday.
  • The senior won her opening set 7-5, dropped the 2^nd set 3-6, before taking the tiebreaker 11-9 for the win.
