ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn.- The University of Northwestern Women's Cross Country Team competed in the Crown Invitational on Saturday. Gustavus Adolphus won the meet with a score of 21. The Eagles did not record a team score.

Freshman Caroline Ringsmuth () turned in an extremely impressive performance in the first full-length race of her career. Ringsmuth finished 12^th overall by running a time of 22:13 to lead the Eagles. Emma Fashant () was behind her, finishing 21^st place with a time of 23:22.

Colene Grefe (), another freshman, completed the race in 24:01 to finish 25^th overall. Kirti Alsterlund finished with a time of 28:13.

UNW will be back in action after two weeks of practice and preparation when they compete in the St. Olaf Invitational on Saturday, September 17^th.
