ST. PAUL, Minn.- The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference announced their postseason awards for the 2022 Women's Soccer season on Tuesday. The University of Northwestern Women's Soccer team was very well represented as eight student athletes were honored.

Haley Mersberger took home a haul of awards in her first season at UNW. The freshman was named the UMAC Player of the Year, the UMAC Rookie of the Year, and First Team All-Conference. Mersberger scored 26 goals this season to lead the UMAC and set the school record for goals in a season. She also added five assists.

Mya Chan (Brandon, S.D./Homeschool) and Miciah Renn (Bemidji, Minn./Homeschool) were also named First Team All-Conference. Chan led the Eagles with nine assists on the season and added four goals. Renn tallied an assist this season and was key to the Eagles' defense on the back line all season long.

Megan Moeller (Sheboygan, Wis./Sheboygan Christian School) and Kaylin Dahl (Hanover, Minn./Buffalo) were named Second Team All-Conference for the Eagles. Moeller was another offensive threat for UNW as she scored nine goals and added five assists on the season. Dahl was another key piece for the Eagles' defense playing on the back line and she added a goal and an assist.

Megan Kohrt (Monona, Wis./Homeschool) and Lauren Bosley (Blaine, Minn./Blaine) were named All-Conference Honorable Mentions. Kohrt was very solid in the middle of the field for the Eagles scoring three goals and dishing out four assists. Bosley was yet another strong defensive piece for the Eagles that led them to a second place finish in the UMAC.

Hannah Lageson (St. Paul, Minn./Concordia Academy) was named a Sportsmanship Award winner representing UNW and showing what it means to Compete With Purpose.
