Men's Lacrosse Jordan Benson

Marlenee, Schuffenhauer, Coach Sanders Earn Top MLC Honors, 13 Eagles Named All-Conference

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The University of Northwestern St. Paul Men's Lacrosse team had 13 student-athletes earn All-Conference honors with three Eagles claiming three of the top yearly awards, the Midwest Lacrosse Conference announced.

Offensive Player of the Year
Chase Marlenee (Northfield, Minn./Northfield)
- Led the Eagles and the MLC in goals (45), assists (26), and points (71).
 
Rookie of the Year
Brenden Schuffenhauer (Circle Pines, Minn./Centennial)
- Led the MLC in faceoff wins, going 130-for-213 for a 61.0 percent win rate.
 
Coach of the Year
Travis Sanders
- Led the Eagles to a perfect 6-0 conference record, earning both the MLC Regular Season and Tournament Championships with each being the first in program history.
 
First Team All-Conference
Keller Stephens (Lino Lakes, Minn./Mounds View)
- 31 goals, 24 assists, 55 points.
Bryce Schmidgall (Hancock, Minn./Hancock)
- 17 goals, 21 points, .436 shot percentage.
