DULUTH, Minn. - The University of Northwestern St. Paul Men's Tennis team took on the St. Scholastica Saints in a road match on Saturday night. The Eagles fell 7-2 in the contest.
Stewart Morrell (Elk River, Minn./Homeschool) and Adam Ryerse (Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge) teamed up for an 8-4 win at the #2 doubles match to put UNW on the board.
In the singles competition, Morrell won his #3 match 6-4, 6-0 to get UNW another point in the team match.
Up next for Northwestern is a return home to face both Hamline University and Crown College in back-to-back non-conference matches on Monday, April 26, starting at 4pm at the Johnson Tennis Courts.
