GREENVILLE, S.C. – The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced Monday morning the athletes earning DI Softball Scholar-Athlete honors. Northwestern had five softball athletes receive these academic honors. In order to earn this honor, athletes must be of junior, senior, or graduate academic standing, and have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.40 on a 4.00 grading scale.

Faith Forcier (Watkins, Minn./Eden Vallley-Watkins)
Lexi Kopacek (Willmar, Minn./Willmar)
Ellie Ronning (Alexandria, Minn./Alexandria Area)
Courtney Schmidt (Spring Valley, Minn/Kingsland)
Miranda Tapp (South St. Paul, Minn./South St. Paul Secondary)
