BECKER, MINN. – The UNW women's golf team ends their fall season on a high note, finishing in second place at the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Championship Saturday afternoon with a three-day team score of 1,184. Elise Tangquist (Crookston, Minn./Crookston) finishes in the top-10 among individuals, with an 8th place effort.

Tangquist led UNW scoring with a three-day total of 284. Mattie Krause (Clear Lake, Iowa/Clear Lake High School) was not far behind, as she posted a score of 290 in her first UMAC Championship appearance. Finishing in the third on the team was Samantha Burkhart (Salix, Iowa/Westwood) with a 298. Concluding the Northwestern scoring was Greta Nyhus (Henning, Minn./Ottertail Central), who posted a 312 on the weekend.
