ST. PAUL — The University of Northwestern women's soccer team ended their season falling 2-0 to the College of St. Scholastica in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament Championship Saturday afternoon. The Eagles finished the season with the third best overall record in Northwestern history.

Becca Rancour scored the first goal of the game 34 minutes into the first half, assisted by Leah Hamm. This is Rancour's 18th goal of the season. The Saints led 1-0 going into halftime.

Emily Goeppinger (Marshfield, Wis./Marshfield) hit the cross bar from 40 yards back with 31 minutes remaining, giving the Eagles their closest scoring opportunity so far in the game. Leah Hamm also scored her 18th goal of the season against the Eagles in the 63rd minute. Unable to respond to the Saints' two goals, the Eagles fell after the 90 minutes of play.
