Box Score ST. PAUL -- It was a rough day on the pitch for the Northwestern College women's soccer team, as the Eagles lost a 5-0 battle to NCAA Division II Concordia University-St. Paul. NWC found itself down 3-0 before ten minutes had ticked off the clock and 4-0 before halftime.

Five different Golden Bears scored in the game with Amanda Olsen picking up both a goal and assist.

Eagles starting goalkeeper Tara Hanson (Andover, Minn./Meadow Creek Christian) (Andover, Minn./Meadow Creek) had three saves before being relieved by Sarah Stenson (Woodbury, Minn./New Life Academy) (Woodbury, Minn./New Life Academy), who posted six saves in 66 minutes.

As a team, Northwestern had seven shots, four of which were on goal.

NWC, now 0-3 to start the 2011 season, will play again on Wednesday, September 14 when the Eagles host Jamestown College. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Reynolds Field.
