Our next inductee graduated in 1995. Mike Fitzgerald, or Fitz as his teammates know him, was an offensive star on the hardwood.  He is one of only 4 eagles to score over 2000 points in a career.  The three point line was like a lay up for Fitz – as his range, according to teammates, was when he stepped over the half court line.  Mike also ranks first in many statistical categories, including free throw percentage for a season and career, and 3 point field goals made for a season and career.  Mike and his wife Mindy have ___ kids and reside in Houston, Texas.  Please join me in welcoming Mike Fitzgerald into the UNW Athletics Hall of Fame.
