Krista (Stoltz) Bellefeuille was a setter for UNW Volleyball from 2010 through 2013. A two-time team captain, Bellefeuille helped lead UNW to three UMAC Regular Season Championships (2011, 2012, 2013) and three UMAC Tournament Championships (2010, 2012, 2013).

The setter helped the Eagles to not only their first NCAA National Tournament Appearance in program history her freshman year, but four-consecutive tournament appearances in each of her four years; her class being the first to accomplish the feat out of any program in Northwestern history.

In 2012, Krista became one of four Eagles at that point in program history to earn AVCA NCAA DIII All-American honors; her Second Team award the first of the four to surpass an Honorable Mention nod.

In 2013, Bellefeuille played through her senior season with a tumor, persevering through the pain to help her team. Her courage was rewarded as the Eagles won both conference regular season and tournament titles while she earned UMAC Player of the Year honors and was named the Northwestern Eagle Award winner.

At the end of the 2013-14 academic year, Krista was Northwestern’s nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year. Out of over 220,000 female NCAA athletes, she was named one of nine finalists for the award.

At the end of her four-year career, Bellefeuille held three UNW Volleyball program records with 10.96 Career Assists per Set, 1,434 Single-Season Assists (2013), and 70 Single-Match Assists (September 28, 2013, vs. Martin Luther).

In 2014, Krista graduated with a 3.96 GPA and a degree in Elementary Education. Her career academic accolades include earning Elementary Education High Honors, Academic All-America honors, the UMAC Scholar-Athlete Leadership Award, and being named to the Dean’s list every semester.

In the community, Bellefeuille served at the Salvation Army, Kids Against Hunger, Feed My Starving Children, and Otter Lake Elementary School amongst other places.
