Soccer 1976-'80
A Northwestern soccer pioneer, Bill played on the original club team in 1976 and became the sport’s first 4-year letter winner. Bill co-captained the team in 1977 and again in 1980, when he was voted Team MVP and named to the NCCAA All-District team. Netting 23 shots, he helped lead the team to its first conference title. For his career, Bill scored 54 goals.
Bill was also a leader on campus editing the newspaper (’77-’80) and yearbook (’78-’79) and serving as the NWSA President (’78-’79, ’79-’80). Dedicated to furthering the Kingdom of God, Bill has used his gift of leadership in various church and camp ministries, most significantly as Camp Lebanon’s Executive Director since 1986.
