Peterson’s Strong Week Leads To UMAC Honor

ST. PAUL, MINN. – In Monday's Upper Midwest Athletic Conference [UMAC] weekly announcement, UNW's Lindsey Peterson (Sheffield, Iowa/West Fork) captured the volleyball offensive Player of the Week award for the third time this season.

The senior outside hitter put together an impressive performance, as she helped UNW go 5-0 and remain undefeated in conference play, totaling 72 kills [4.50 kills/set] and 55 digs [3.44 digs/set] on the week. In her strong efforts, Peterson also recorded a match-high 22 kills in the Eagles' win over No. 10 Gustavus.

The team will be back in action on Wednesday, September 27, as they travel to New Ulm for two conference matches against Martin Luther and UW-Superior. Fans can follow the live action at www.unweagles.com.
